Outsourcing Welfare  HOW THE MONEY IMMIGRANTS SEND HOME CONTRIBUTES TO STABILITY IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES
While filming The Other Side of Immigration, director Roy Germano conducted a survey of 700 Mexican families to study the impact of mass migration in their communities. In this book he reports the results of that survey and others from Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Middle East to demonstrate the significant political and economic impacts of money that immigrants send to their home countries. Published by Oxford University Press.
